These cute little paper ornaments are hanging from the light in the middle of my room. I used a 2" circle punch and glue....I took a LOT of folding!!

I have a little 3ft tree in my room, I am going to decorate it with all handmade ornaments....here's #1!! A paper wreath!

This "Restoration Hardware" Magazine got a new life as a Tree on top of my T.V. at some point I plan to decorate it!!

Camper Before: Ugly but built well with gold-mustard and gold glitter flooring, wood cabinets, bronze hinges and drawer pulls rusty hood vent, nasty curtains and the ugliest fabric cushions you have EVER seen. Needless to say, it needed an update!

Thankfully its fun! These are some random things I've been doing, loving and looking forward to!!

Loving THIS families new camper, it makes me want to buy an old camper, fix it up and travel around!! SO CUTE!!

I am back to working out like a mad person, I feel so much better, we are doing the "get ready for Army Ranger School workout" swimming, running, ruck marches, weights, sit ups, push ups, jump rope and chin ups! It will be great, If, I make it through!!

This little man is swimming like a fish! Diving down for sticks, swimming the length of the pool and wanting to race! I have the option of not getting in the pool every time we go swimming now. And that is SO nice!!

1. Parking by the cart return is the BEST place to park, even if its farther to walk!! After grocery shopping, unloading the kid (or kids) first then groceries is by far the easiest way to go!! Being able to push the cart two feet to the return is AWESOME!

2. As much as I didn't want to, I really enjoyed "The Shack"! Not what I thought, at all!

3. While florida is amazing and I love my family, driving down three weekends this month is about my limit, I am tired!! Although, the surprise party for my sister was AMAZING and the 4th of July is always a must!!

4. I have big plans for staying home all weekend and being creative! Granny squares here I come!! Hopefully that means I will have a more creative update soon! :)

5. On a more serious note, I've been reading this book and its very fascinating!
Healing the New Childhood Epidemics - The 4 A's , Autism, ADHD, Asthma and Allergies! If anyone in your family suffers from one of these its a must read!

Here are a couple shots from Lukes 3rd Birthday this past weekend. The theme was bugs and I think everyone enjoyed it! All the kiddos are wearing the Antennas that Jenni and I made. Another simple solution, to a big mess. Organization makes me happy, especially when its cute! :) The numbers are the needles size with extra pockets for cable needles, stitch holders, stitch markers and a yarn needle.

This sweet face came up from FL for the weekend!!

I have wanted to try my own version of the button necklace for a while, this weekend was my perfect chance!

I made this sunglasses case, I am not worried about them getting crushed, just scratched. I really like the results!

Leah wanted to make a felt ipod case while she was here. We pulled out all my supplies, she asked for a little guidance, we made a plan and then I set her loose! Look at the results, sooo cute! I love her version, she wanted a pocket for her headphones, brilliant....I might have to copy this!!

Birthdays, Projects and Music

I am heading to FL tomorrow for my nephews 7th birthday, I am young and that makes me feel old. They are awesome little men though, and I am so blessed to have them in my life! My weekend will be spent helping them celebrate, via a cookout-boating party at Mom and Dads! I am really excited, Jet Skis, knee boarding and tubing here I come!

I recently stumbled upon and started listening to musician Priscilla Ahn. "Dream" is one of those songs you recognize, know you have heard 100 times, but have no idea where from. Try her, you'll like her!

My i pod tends to "float" around in my purse, between my "on the go" bag, computer/camera bag and player dock. I have a leather cover, but it is more hassle than its worth. I made this case last night to "protect" my ipod on all its adventures!! Its perfect!

Don't tell anyone....but, I am pretty sure Gap Outlet makes their shorts(3" inseam versions) just for me. They make all the other stuff as a cover for that fact. Yup, Yup....its our little secret!! :)

Just FYI- these shorts are never in regular GAP stores, and slightly different every year!

I have finally arranged my room the way I want it! It needs just a bit more organization and it will be perfect! If you can't tell, I really like color! The natural lighting in this room is spectacular!

Tonight I started(or re-started) my ETSY account! For now I just have two jewelry wraps but hope to add at least two more by the end of the week! If these sell, I will be branching out into more styles and colors!

This mascara is my new favorite, one more step in the make-up applying process but totally worth it!

Spring has Sprung Summer(FINALLY)

We have had the first signs of spring(even though it is already summer) this week. The weather has been amazing giving us the chance to go for nice walks and heating the hot tub just a little for "swimming"!

Beautiful weather means a mandatory trip/hike down to the creek that runs behind our neighborhood! Its all about throwing the rocks in!

I whipped these cards really fast a couple months ago, I just found them and thought I should do a quick post about them now!
All I did was trace the shapes and cut them out. Then I gently made small tears about 1/4 inch apart all around the edges! Happy Crafting!

Georgia, Storms & Rain Boots!

Over the last two weeks Georgia has been blessed with quite a few rainstorms! We needed the rain so badly (we are in a drought you know!) and I can actually enjoy a good storm if I don't have to be out in it! I did however decide rain boots would be VERY practical and cute! I am very excited to live in a time when you can find a "pretty" version of almost anything! I think these are perfect!

I few months back I set out to find the perfect jewelry storage. I struggled, I also needed a good travel solution since I never know what jewelry I want to wear until the moment presents itself. And I wanted to be able to see everything to make the best decision. After searching I decided I could make the best and most creative solution. This is what I ended up with.

It ties over a hanger for easy access, both at home and on the road.

1. I am so grateful for the mercy and grace I am given everyday!
2. I want to travel, but don't take the time to plan a trip.
3. I love photography, but I don't take very many pictures. I think I blame it on having a camera I HATE.
4. I've had this computer for almost two years, I just backed it up for the first time. :(
5. I have an unhealthy addiction to Dr. Pepper.
6. I will never get tired of Friends re-runs!
7. I spent the last three weeks going through old magazines pulling out the stuff I like and adding them to my idea books(recycling the rest). Something I've wanted to do for at least a year. Only 12 to go!
8. I can't seem to organize my itunes, I try, nothing seems to work. IDEAS?
9. There is no doubt in my mind. Luke is the smartest(not to mention cutest) 2 1/2 year old I know!
10. There are a few movies(Sweet Home Alabama, You've Got Mail, Pride and Prejudice, While You Are Sleeping, Sabrina+) I've seen WAY too many times.
11. I love to knit, but don't do it as often as I would like.
12. I love my itunes genius.

This was amazing. Let, me say, it was NOT what I expected, a little more "details" than I wanted to know for the first 30 mins or so. But, I loved the rest! It was brilliant, creative, endearing, funny, inspiring, beautiful, well, just amazing!!

I recently moved back to Alpharetta and back in with my good friends Kelli and Jd Crowe, I lived here for almost three years a few years ago but, I failed to make my space truly mine. So, along with other things I'm working on that. I'm hoping to paint one wall dark Chocolate and I'm looking for four old hollywood black and white prints for my bathroom. I haven't found the perfect ones yet but I hope to do so soon! I also hope to have some pics soon! Cross your fingers!

So much has changed. I am no longer working for Joel and Pamela, and in all truth I was so releaved. They REALLY didn't keep up their end of the bargin, and no matter how hard I tried the didn't seem to want to talk to me about it either. But, then again I don't think they keep Nannies very long in general.

So, I've been hanging out with a couple of my favorite kiddos here at the Crowe house!!

You can't help but fall in Love with them!

I have three job offers here in Alpharetta. One I am really excited about, And one in Colorado that I don't think I'm going to take. So much going on, I can't wait to see what happens with everything!
